You simply can't duplicate that much work by hand.  Plus, the Porter Cable car polisher is light and very easy to use, even if you've never polished your car by machine before.  Oh, and did I mention it's also safe?  With the Adam's foam pad system, it's virtually impossible to do any paint damage (unless you're swinging the polisher around by the cord... not recommended!).

After your full detail, you'll need to clean up your pads and polisher.  Use Adam's All-Purpose Cleaner, which is included with your kit.  Just a few sprays on each pad is all it takes.  Rinse with fresh water, squeeze and allow to air dry.
